Our Dreams

Our dream is to build a healthy, growing church in Canberra, that is contemporary, relevant and relational, and that connects people with God, with one another, and with the needs of the city we live in and beyond.

We have coined the phrase “Real people, Real Hope, Real Life” as a statement about who we are and who we want to be.

More specifically our dream is to be a church:

• of influence and impact in Canberra and beyond
• where God is given first place and Jesus is King
• that loves God’s word unashamedly and helps people to apply it practically to our world today
• which lives a Holy Spirit empowered life
• of joy, life and reality
• that excels in generosity
• that is known for its worship
• that is known for its daring to trust God
• where people discover their God-given purpose and destiny
• that desires to touch the community with the love of Christ
• that has groups of people meeting regularly all across our city
• with a thriving youth ministry.
• where children are given the best there is in kid’s ministry and encouraged to grow into the leaders of tomorrow
• that men want to come to and women love too!
• where family is valued
• that seeks to be relevant to an ever changing world
• that uses multimedia and other means to enhance the effective communication of our message
• from which teams go regularly to be a help to others
• which reflects the cultural diversity of our city
• that is multigenerational
