Mental Health Seminar

Dr. Robi Sonderegger, B Soc Sci (Psych), BA Hons (Psych), PhD (Clinical Psych) is a clinical psychologist who is recognised as an expert in trauma associated with war, exploitation and natural disaster. He has spent a number of years developing and validating evidence-based early intervention and treatment programs for behavioural and emotional disorders. His research in this area has been widely published and his live workshops are known to be compelling and empowering.

In this full day workshop, Dr. Robi will share skills and strategies that mental health professionals can utilise to help their clients not only recover, but build greater resilience and thrive. Over the course of the day, participants will learn how to enable their clients to grow through tragedy, regulate their mood, and master their mind.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to;

  • Identify evidence-based principles that enable people to recover from tragedy and move to triumph in their lives

  • Utilise practical strategies to regulate the mind, mood and manners

  • Understand the latest neuroscientific evidence relating to neuroplasticity, and how to apply this knowledge in clinical practice

  • Identify key elements to success, and how to use these to encourage clients to master their minds
